Well Baby check up and Big Boy check up!

Just after Christmas we took the boys to their 9 month and 3 year check ups.

Luke:  He is in the 92% for height and 12% for weight.  This was even  after he lost almost a pound from being sick for about a week.  These numbers are for a regular 9 month old and not a preemie even! He is a big boy with such a cute smile to light up a room. He's now ten months and is rolling over and sitting up but not yet crawling or sleeping through the night.  He doesn't have a tooth yet which I'm a little scared to begin teething with him because everything with Luke has been hard so I'm not looking forward to it.  He still hates tummy time and I'm not sure when he will eventually get around but I just have to remind myself that he's still really only 8 1/2 months old (from his due date) and eventually he'll catch up.

Marcus:  He is in the 75% for height and 45% for weight.  He impressed our doctor by knowing his numbers and letters.  By the end of the appointment our Dr. gave him a little talking too about peeing and pooing in the potty because he's a big boy.  So I knew it was time to stop procrastinating and a couple weeks later he is doing great.  He's had a couple of accidents but that usually happens when he is really into what he is doing.

We are so blessed to have two healthy and happy little boys and we love them so much.  It's so amazing to me as a mother that I'm responsible for these little boys who were saved for this time to come to earth.

Hang in there! You're doing great. Adam didn't crawl until after a year. He finally took his first steps at 15 months. Baby L... they're anticipating that he may be able to sit up with support by 10 months. Is Luke receiving any Early Intervention Services? Our experiences with them have been absolutely wonderful. We have a physical therapist and occupational therapist come right to our home. The services aren't for just bad parents, but also for children who have WONDERFUL parents but just had a rough start. The best thing is that the services are free through the county.

I would so love to chat. I tried the number you sent twice and it didn't seem to work. Perhaps I wrote it down wrong. Miss you lots!

Luke is so adorable, just like his big brother! Every time you visit, I seem to miss seeing you and Luke! I'm glad you have this blog so that I can keep up with how much the boys are growing and learning!
