Teething, Cold & Glue...oh my!

What a week! Poor little Marcus has had a pretty difficult week. First off he started teething on Monday and got a cold to go along with it; his two top teeth are coming in full force. Then on Tuesday night he was walking (still a little unsteady) and tripped on a blanket...face first into our end table. Ouch! Well he cried but not too hard but when I pulled him a little away from me, I saw that he had a cute above his eye. Luckily both of us were home and we were able to take him to the ER pretty quick. One thing about this little guy is he is tough! He cried yes but not that hard. Well anyways the doctor was able to glue it and he didn't have to get stitches. But the highlight of all of this for Marcus (yes highlight) was that I just sat him in my lap on our way to the hospital and he got to see all the Christmas lights. He was actually pretty pumped about it and totally forgot about his eye. I know good mom right, don't turn me into the authorities...I mean it was the highlight of his night probably his whole week!

Quick Trip Down Memory Lane...

Let's see the highlight of the year...mmmmm...maybe me leaving work. Just kidding it was definitely Marcus. Marcus David Prestwich was born on my Bday on Dec 5, 2007. He is too cute as you can tell. This year has been filled with loads of stinky diapers, some spit up here and there but also lots of smiles and tons of laughter. He's pretty average height and weight but he has HUGE feet (size 4 already), which is pretty crazy as both Aaron and I have pretty small feet. Everyone says he looks like his daddy but with my coloring so yeah he's a cutie. I love being home with him and he has taught me so much.

Marcus is kind of a nut...he loves to swing at the park, likes to go on long walks (we don't have a beach in Sterling), watch TV (he really could be a couch potato if I let him), read books, climb the stairs, play peek-a-boo, sing songs, play pat-a-cake, put anything and everything in his mouth, gives us lots of kisses, laugh at himself, and climb anything. He says BOO and mama and dada and he took his first steps just before his bday. Like I said he is the best thing that has happened to us as a family. He kind of completes the picture (at least for now)!

A quick recap of Aaron and I...he works at NJC and really enjoys his job. I'm a MOM and love it. That about sums us up.

Beginings

A new quest into the blogging world. A cute way to keep our little world in touch with the Aaron Prestwich family. I'm not the best keeping in touch personally, through email or phone, so I just thought to give this a shot. Who knows maybe I'll post weekly but I really doubt that so I'll make a goal of at least monthly, how's that!
